2:00: Opening Address & Presentations. Panel Presentation by guest rancher, butcher and chef
3:00: Chef’s Hour. Dedicated to building farm-to-chef connections
4:00: The Butcher’s Block. An open forum on the state of the industry
5:00: Closing Remarks. Where do we go from here?
5:30: Dinner at the Copper Pig BBQ. Free of charge!

Note: This event will also be hosted in Smithers at a future date. A farmer purchased an old, run-down, abandoned farm with plans to turn it into a thriving enterprise. The fields were grown over with weeds, the farmhouse was falling apart, and the fences were broken down.

The Prince George Farmers' Market Association is holding its AGM Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 3:00 pm after market hours at the Immigrant and Multicultural Services Society (IMSS) building on 1270, 2nd Avenue, Prince George. Members will be notified in writing prior to the meeting. Please attend the meeting and excercise your right to vote!
