WHERE TO FIND THE MARKET
The Year-Round Prince George Farmers’ Market is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Prince George on 1074 6th Avenue, behind the Keg Restaurant. The indoor market operates year round every Saturday from 8:30am to 2:00pm while the seasonal outdoor market at the same location starts in mid April and ends October. » View the map on the Contact page.
We are open Year Round, every Saturday from 8:30am to 2:00pm.
Everything sold at the Prince George Farmers’ Market must be made, baked, or grown locally by the vendor. Products that are not available from local producers such as fruit for example, may be sold at the Market but must be products from BC.

GUIDELINES FOR THE SALE OF FOODS AT TEMPORARY FOOD MARKETS
Any vendor selling or sampling food at the Prince George Farmers' Market must comply with the food guidelines issued by the Provincial Health Services Authority. You can download the following pdf document: Guideline for the Sale of Food.
The Prince George Farmers’ Market was started in 1995 with a few vendors and has grown to a substantial Prince George institution with around 100 members offering everything from local vegetables, meats, bakings, fruits, hot foods, coffee, honey and jams and jellies, preserves, and a wide variety of artisan products including jewellery.
With the opening of the Market’s indoor location in 2010, the Prince George Farmers’ Market became the first Farmers’ Market in the Province of British Columbia boasting a year-round market. A Saturday at the Market may see well over 2000 visitors - we hope you’ll be one of them!
