HISTORY

The Prince George Farmers’ Market was started in 1996 with a few vendors and has grown to a substantial Prince George institution with around 100 members offering everything from local vegetables, meats, bakings, fruits, hot foods, coffee, honey and jams and jellies, preserves, and a wide variety of artisan products including jewellery.

With the opening of the Market’s indoor location in 2010, the Prince George Farmers’ Market became the first Farmers’ Market in the Province of British Columbia boasting a year-round market. A Saturday at the Market may see well over 2000 visitors - we hope you’ll be one of them!
